14th October 2024 - Session with Dahlia Something.
This is the second participant in my ND passions project, Dahlia is a University student, coming over from the USA to study here, and hopefully relocate. My eldest came with me this time, and with good reason, one of the things I find important in my project is making sure people are comfortable, feel safe and happy to chat. It means I get a lot of blurry outtakes, images that just don't make the cut for various reasons, but I also get a lot of genuine expressions, and I love that.
Dahlia is an autistic transgender person, who adores My Little Pony, they volunteered for the project because they wanted to see more people like themselves reflected in the media, and this project is all about showing who we truly are.
I hope that Dahlia will be kind enough to write a piece about themselves to share with you, if they do I'll update it below.
