I had a specific aim this year, last year I just wandered, but this year I had arranged to meet up with a few people from the Gosport Steampunk Society, and despite the rain they very kindly showed up and let me (and a lot of bystanders who rapidly appeared) take their photos. They were such good sports, so many people wanted to see them, take photos of them and with them. A truly lovely bunch. I hope to get some pieces written by some of them to add to my ongoing social documentary project, Alternatives, which you can see a sample of in the menu.
